Almost Christmas!

I cannot believe that Christmas is a week away! I'm not even close to being done with shopping. ARGH! I am almost done with edits for Wanted and am thinking it will be ready for paperback copies in the next few weeks! YEA!

Been writing for Saved a lot the last few days. I am up to chapter 9...just got into Josh's head...interesting! I'm thinking I will post a teaser either before Christmas or after!

I hope y'all are all doing well. Thank you again for all of your support and for recommended Wanted to your friends and family! I am so overwhelmed by the response and so very happy!

Scavenger Hunt for $75 Amazon gift card

Okay y'all the scavenger hunt is on for the $75 Amazon gift card. It is pretty simple. You have to pick five (5) items off the list below. You then have to take a picture of that item WITH a sign that says "I read this in Wanted". Then post the pictures on my author page on Facebook or my regular Facebook page by 8pm on Friday December 14th. I will then draw a name and announce the winner on the blog, twitter and Facebook!

The scavenger hunt is on for the $75 Amazon gift card! Remember...you have to make a sign that says "I read this in Wanted" BE sure the sign is in your photos. You have to take the photos...no internet pictures!

WOW...So I just checked Amazon's top 100 and Wanted is sitting at number 71 right now! I am SO overwhelmed I can't even begin to tell you. Thank you to everyone who has bought and shared the story of Gunner and Ellie <3

I am busy working on Saved, Jeff and Ari's story. In this book you will get to know Josh and Heather a little better and few new characters will be introduced as well. I am up to Chapter 6 and so far I have only had to shake my head at Jeff once or twice....HA!

Amazing first week!

WOW! That is really all I can even say as I come up to the first week of Wanted being out. I am overjoyed at the reaction of this book! I want to thank everyone who has sent me comments letting me know how much they loved the book and how you can not wait to hear more about Jeff and Ari! I can not wait to give you more! :-)

With this being my first book I knew it was going to be a learning experience and it certainly has been. I have already met some wonderful people and have made a ton of new friends. What a blessing indeed!

I am currently writing Saved, book two in the Wanted series. This book will be mostly Jeff and Ari's story but Gunner and Ellie will be in there for sure and you will get to know Josh and Heather better also. Oh Josh.....that boy.....I just have to shake my head at him. I am aiming for a March 2013 release for Saved. Of course never say never to an earlier release but no promises. ;-)

I am also in the process of doing more edits to Wanted. I am hoping to make some changes (edits only) to Wanted and update it in about a month or so. Edits are beyond crazy hard and no matter how many times we read through that book mistakes went unnoticed.

My favorite question/comment so far and the one that makes me giggle them most is about Gunner. I  I have to tell you...I put a lot of my husband into Gunner's personality so when I read that his affection towards Ellie was unbelievable it just makes me nod my head in disagreement! LOL! There really are good ole Texas cowboys out there still y'all! HA! Now his humor is all in Jeff though!  ;-)

Title for third book ;-)

Last night I was talking to Darrin about Josh and Heather's book. I know...I should be only thinking about Jeff and Ari right now......LOL! BUT.....I was thinking about them and the title of their book just popped into my head!

SOOOO...I have a title for the third and last book in the Wanted series! DRUM ROLL------->

This will be the title to Josh and Heather's book <3 I have been sitting on it all day today...making sure it felt right in my heart and yes...it does.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and I hope your week has started off fantastic! I have been putting off so many things the last few days. Tomorrow is lunch with a dear friend of mine and then I am going to force myself to do some chores around the house! LOL! oh man....I crack myself up!

Happy Sunday!!!

WOW this weekend has been something else! To think that a few short months ago I was driving in my car listening to a song and an idea for a story just popped up in my head! I sat down and started to write and the next thing I knew.....Gunner and Ellie were brought to life. 

The experience in writing and publishing my first book as been something else. I have learned a lot in the last few days...some good...some bad....but I can honestly say 99% of it has been GREAT!

I am currently working on the second book in the Wanted series. This will be Jeff and Ari's book and the title will be Saved. I am hoping to have it out in Feb. 2013 but....no promises! HA!

I wanted to take just a moment to thank each person who has taken the time to write a review, post a comment on my Facebook page, emailed me and most importantly....shared Wanted with your friends and family. A recommendation to read the book is by far the best compliment you could ever give me! In fact...pay it forward....it is the season for giving! ;-)

I wanted to take a moment to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has read Wanted already! The feedback has been amazing and I am blown away....especially since this is my first book!

I am getting a lot of questions regarding a second book. YES! I have already started on the second book......Saved. This will be Ari and Jeff's story and we will get to know Josh and Heather a bit better as well!

As of this morning I was #3 on the Kindles Mover and Shaker list. I almost fell out of my chair considering I am with some wonderful company on that list! Thank you to everyone who is buying and sharing with other folks. That is the greatest complement of all!
